1. The Zero-Retention Guarantee
Unlike legacy meeting notetakers that record, transcribe, and permanently store raw audio files on public cloud databases, offcuff.ai operates strictly in volatile RAM memory.
Incoming audio from your meeting and local microphone is converted to streaming PCM frames in memory, transcribed in real time, and discarded immediately after generation. We never write raw audio to disk.
2. Meeting Undetectability & Screen Protection
Our desktop client utilizes operating-system-level display exclusion (WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE on Windows and CGWindowSharingType.none on macOS). This ensures that screen capture software (Zoom, Teams, Meet, Discord, Loom) cannot access or render the overlay pixels.
3. Local-First Document RAG (Knowledge Hub)
When you upload resumes, system design notes, or sales playbooks to your Knowledge Hub, the text chunks are embedded and stored in your dedicated Microsoft SQL Server instance with Row-Level Security (RLS) and encryption at rest (AES-256). You can permanently delete any document and its associated vector embeddings with a single click.
4. offcuff Duo End-to-End Encryption
When inviting a mentor to co-pilot your interview via offcuff Duo, transmission of live transcripts and whisper notes occurs peer-to-peer via WebRTC DataChannels secured by DTLS-SRTP encryption. The host candidate retains 100% control and can revoke helper access at any millisecond.

You maintain the absolute right to export, modify, or permanently purge all account records, session summaries, and profile metadata.
